My name is Sergio. I’m one of the members of the Intelligent Four. Each one of us has his own strengths and weaknesses, but all of us are intelligent in our own way.
In my first entry, I wanted to talk about myself to let you now how and who I am. To do that, I want to tell you about the most important parts of my daily life: studies, languages, sports and social life. But not only my habits or tastes form the person I am, places such as my home town Utiel and songs like Knocking on Heaven’s doors also describe and identify me. I will try to be brief and summarize which kind of person I am.
First, I must say that as all of the other three members of the group, I am studying to become an English teacher in primary school, that’s why one of my passions are languages. During my life as student I have learnt Spanish, English and Valencian, but once I started university I found the opportunity to start learning German too. So, besides of learning them I have always helped my friends with them and other subjects. That’s one of the reasons that convinced me to be a teacher. Being a teacher is not only a job, is also a passion, a desire, a sign of solidarity and support. It represents the wish of changing the world and improving what we receive.
Second, I said that sports are a really important part of my life and the reason is that they are one of the things that make me disconnect from the routine I have as a university student. But that’s not new, I have played different ones such as tennis, football, basketball or running, and this other passion is also present today. As everyone, I need to have rest sometimes, I need time to reflect and clarify our ideas.
Third and the last point, I want to talk about, is people which surround me. I have been so luckily of belonging to a family in which I have always had the opportunity to study, learn and discover all what I wanted. My parents have been the most important people for me since I was born, they have made me as I am and have walked with me all this long way. Besides, the different people which have formed part of my life as friends, which have changed by the time and they will always change, have allowed me to be as I am. I think that we are the consequence of the people we are with.
Finally, I think that all this pieces of live which I have highlighted have made me in this way and not in another one. It is difficult to explain who I am if we do not take into account our past. Collecting all those pieces we will be able to complete the puzzle which is our personality.
