Introduction Álvaro Carrión

Hi! I'm Álvaro and I'm the third intelligent in the group and, as well as my mates, I'm studying for being an English Primary Teacher. I am responsible and hardworking but always funny. I love making jokes and I think I have a good sense of humor. Don't I?

Talking about languages, I must say that I have always been in touch with them. Since I was young, I started attending extracurricular classes of English because my parents want me to improve in this subject. At eight, I began in an English academy near my flat. Years later, I coincided with Raul (one of the other intelligent) and It was there when we started our journey to become English teachers. In 2014, I passed my English First Certificate exam and I decided to leave the academy on the occasion of this achievement. I wanted to continue studying English on my own and start new projects. I obtained new recognitions such as lifeguard and swimming instructor courses but I think leaving aside English was not the best option. Now, I have the opportunity to continue practicing this language again in the university.

If we focus in the other local language apart from Spanish, I have to say that Valencian has always been a language spoken in my environment. My mum uses to talk in this language to some of her family members so it becomes familiar for me. Also, I continue practising this language in some spaces that I visit frequently such as the soccer field of Levante U.D. There, almost everyone speaks Valencian due to the area where it is located.
When I was at Bachelor, I passed the C1 level of this language, thing that may open me many doors in the near future.

In this point of my brief presentation, I have to say that my family has played an important role for me in choosing what I wanted to dedicate myself. Without the possibilities and opportunities they offered me, I probably would not be studying this degree. Nevertheless, here I am, finishing my third year and close to finish my academic background. This does not mean that I am going to stay here, as a good teacher I think it is my duty to continue forming me day by day.
